Armageddon (from Hebrew, Har Megiddo, lit. Mount Megiddo; Ancient Greek. Harmagedon , Late Latin: Armageddon ) is, according to the Bible, the site of a battle during the end times. The term is also used in a generic sense to refer to any end of the world scenario. The Battle Of Armageddon is mentioned in the Old Testament in Zechariah 14: 2-4 “For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished, and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.”Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. V-4 In that day his feet will stand upon the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives shall be split in the middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will be moved to the north and the other half to the south. So we find in that great end time battle that God will be firing the guns and calling the shots.
Verse 3
According to scripture, Jesus Christ will return to earth and defeat the Antichrist (the “beast”), Satan the devil, in the battle of Armageddon, The reason I don’t take my readers down the popular Road to Armageddon, is the fact that a road can be of any size from a small gravel road to the long Interstate but now we are moving at break speed down the Armageddon Highway. As we travel down this cataclysmic highway there will be several signs that must not be overlooked. The most important being “The Rapture Of The Church” 1st Thessalonians 4: 13-18; 1st Corinthians
15: 51-54.
Until He Comes Again,
