If you have attended a church lately you probably have realized by now that the greatest message that you heard did not come from the lifeless pulpit but from the empty pews and tearless altars. Likewise if you have watched any news lately you have seen and heard more anchors quoting the bible than preachers today.
Though the scripture plainly tells us that we cannot predict the time when Gabriel will put the horn to his lips for the universal wakeup call (1st Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1st Corinthians 15: 51-54), yet we are given many signs to watch for and they are getting more noticeable every day.
The greatest signs are written in that ole dusty book that has been handed down from family to family only to be used as a recipe holder or a photo album. This book was written a long time ago and made for time and eternity by holy men of God who were anointed by the Holy Spirit. One of the signs can be found in 1st Timothy 4:1. Now the Spirit speaks expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils (2nd Timothy 4:1-5; 2 Peter 2:1-3). I charge thee before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick (alive) and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom, preach the word; be instant in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned to fables.
(2 Peter 2: 1-3) But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingered not, and their damnation slumbered not.
This is tantamount to trampling on the Son of God, profaning his blood, and insulting the Holy Spirit. For this willful sin there was no repentance or forgiveness. Against this sin there are repeated warnings in the letter to the Hebrews:
A. drifting away from the message of Christ (Heb.2:1)
B. It is the sin of rebellion or of hardening the heart (Heb.3:7-19)
C. It is falling away or committing apostasy (Heb.6:6)
D. It is the forsaking the assembling… together (Heb.10:25)
E. It is the willfulness or deliberate sin (Heb.10:26)
F. It is spoken of as selling one’s birthright for a single meal (Heb.12:12)
G. It is called a refusal to hear the one that is speaking from heaven. (Heb.12:25)
But all these warnings are directed against different aspects of the same sin--the sin of apostasy.

“THE APPROACHING DAY OF THE LORD”
Since we can see many of the end time signs looming on the distant horizon, and know that the Day of the Lord is near, we must learn the true meaning of that event. For faithful believers it will be a time of resurrection when all the saved dead will rise from the grave. At that time there will be a transformation when all their corruptible bodies put on incorruption as The Apostle Paul stated it in I Corinthians 15: 51-54.
At that same time there will a translation. This is the Rapture that we wrote about in an earlier posting when the saints will be snatched away or caught up to meet Jesus in the air (I Thessalonians 4:13-18).
For those whose heart was so hardened that it muffed out the sound of Gabriel’s wakeup call, they will be left here in the grave or on the earth to go through the Great Tribulation and face all the evil the Antichrist regime has to offer. This offer at first will be wrapped in angel soft sheepskin but it is soon revealed as the very rough skin of a beast. He and his Satan powered false prophet will cause men to believe a lie and be damned. This will be some of the greatest temptations that men have ever faced. This temptation will come upon all the world to try all who dwell on the earth at that time.
Now, I want you to pay close attention to the following. If you are one of the many that miss the Rapture and are left on this earth, do not sell out to that evil regime for they will cause all men both small and great to take a mark in the forehead or the right hand. Do not take that mark, for if you do, you will doom your soul forever for that means you have taken sides with that evil beast whose number is 666, against the Son of God, Jesus Christ. Much more on this subject on the next post.
In closing, remember since The Day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night, let me ask you this very important two point question, have you made up your mind to be among the ones who face those terrible temptations, or are you going to be among the missing at the Rapture? The right answer to this question can only flow from born again hearts
where Jesus rules and reigns, and dear reader, I hope that one of those hearts is yours.

Could This Be the Year?
Could This Be The Year?
Many years have come and gone since Jesus left Mt. Olivet and returned to His heavenly home. Prior to his departure, He made this promise: that if He went away and prepared a place for all believers, He would come again and receive them unto Himself, so that where He was they could be with Him also. (John 14:1-3) In Acts 1:11 the Apostles who stood gazing toward heaven as Jesus entered the clouds were told by the Angels that one day He would return just like He went away. Could this be that day? Could this be the hour when the grave-splitting shout comes from on high? Could this be the year of the coming of the Son of God to Rapture (catch away the Saints)?
On that resurrection morning when the dead in Christ shall rise, untold millions will vanish from around the world and the streets will be flooded with weepers frantically searching for their missing loved ones! Screaming Too Late! Too Late!
While the entire world swings into chaos, the devastating news strikes fear in the hearts of those who have been left behind. While radios are switched on, television news channels gleaned, and all telephone switchboards are jammed, terrified people watch in horror as giant airplanes fall from the sky, loaded passenger trains jump the track, and huge piles of wrecked automobiles make the freeways look like one long junkyard.
In John 17:12 Jesus said, “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: Those that thou gavest (Gave) me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition (Judas Iscariot); that the scripture might be fulfilled.” So it is important to understand that at the Rapture of the Church all that God has given to Jesus (that is every one that is saved by grace through faith) will be among the missing.
It is common knowledge that there are born- again Christians in all of society today, and among them are airplane pilots, train engineers, semi-truck drivers and captains of huge ships. It doesn’t take much stretching of the imagination to see the horrible picture that’s being painted here.
The reader must wake up and realize that when that last trumpet sounds the Christian pilot, the train engineer, and the ship Captain, will vanish from their positions. And just imagine all of the saved truck drivers disappearing and leaving those huge rigs to go crashing down the cluttered highway.
On the home front people will be disappearing from their cars, vans, pickup trucks, and from all other means of transportation. But the hardest message unsaved mothers will ever hear will be preached by an empty crib bed when they discover that Jesus has come and taken all innocent, sinless children away. Remember, all this takes place in a moment in the twinkling of an eye (I Corinthians 15:51-54), so I ask you dear reader, COULD THIS BE THE YEAR?? THE DAY?? THE HOUR?? OR THE MOMENT??

The Rapture of the Church
Rapture of all Christians--1st Thess. 4: 14-18; (V-14) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them which sleep (die) in Jesus will God bring with Him.(V-15) For, this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent ( go before) them which are asleep. (dead)1 Cor. 15: 51-53; (V-51) Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep. (die) but we shall all be changed.
(V-52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed
(V-53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption , and this mortal must put on immortality.
V-16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
V-17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
V-18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The Armageddon Highway 2
Armageddon (from Hebrew, Har Megiddo, lit. Mount Megiddo; Ancient Greek. Harmagedon , Late Latin: Armageddon ) is, according to the Bible, the site of a battle during the end times. The term is also used in a generic sense to refer to any end of the world scenario. The Battle Of Armageddon is mentioned in the Old Testament in Zechariah 14: 2-4 “For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city will be captured, the houses plundered, the women ravished, and half of the city exiled, but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.”Then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. V-4 In that day his feet will stand upon the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives shall be split in the middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will be moved to the north and the other half to the south. So we find in that great end time battle that God will be firing the guns and calling the shots.
Verse 3
According to scripture, Jesus Christ will return to earth and defeat the Antichrist (the “beast”), Satan the devil, in the battle of Armageddon, The reason I don’t take my readers down the popular Road to Armageddon, is the fact that a road can be of any size from a small gravel road to the long Interstate but now we are moving at break speed down the Armageddon Highway. As we travel down this cataclysmic highway there will be several signs that must not be overlooked. The most important being “The Rapture Of The Church” 1st Thessalonians 4: 13-18; 1st Corinthians
15: 51-54.

After my conversion on August 8th 1965 and my call into the ministry of that same year, I preached my first sermon on January 26th 1966. I soon became engulfed by the magnetic power of end time prophecy. One of the most sobering components to the exciting study is “The Battle Of Armageddon”.After nearly a half century in the ministry and preaching from coast to coast and abroad I have the advantage of looking back to the way it was when I first heard about it, and now seeing it shaping up on the news channels right before my eyes.
I can hear the distant thunder from those mighty weapons of war, as the prophetical nations are preparing to march into The Valley Of Megiddo where the blood will run horse bridal high for two hundred miles.
Now, since we can see and hear it setting up around the world, I thought I had better share it with a world wide audience. So join me in my new weekly blog titled “The Armageddon Highway”.

Apocalyptic Highway Intro
Since it came to my attention that the name “The Armageddon Highway” is currently being used by other writers, in order to minimize the confusion I decided to make a name change to my weekly blog. The new name will be “The Apocalyptic Highway” everything else will be the same.
